The Atrusian cuisine

The Artusiana Festival is a nine-day event held every year in early summer, when the city of Forlimpopoli welcomes tourists from all over the world to celebrate Italian home cooking and the national gastronomic scene. Each year, on the recommendation of the Casa Artusi Scientific Committee, Forlimpopoli awards both the Artusi Prize to those who have distinguished themselves in food culture and the Marietta Prize dedicated to home cooking.

A journey through tastes and scents

The itinerary of the "Route of Wines and Flavors of the Hills of Forlì and Cesena" stretches an impressive 287 kilometers and transversely connects six major valleys of central Romagna (Tramazzo, Montone, Rabbi, Bidente, Savio and Rubicone), the thermal baths and medieval village of Castrocaro, the medieval citadel of Bertinoro and the cities of Forlì and Cesena.

Magliano Fiordalisi Oasis Golf Club is an extraordinarily technical nine-hole golf course located within a nature reserve and Site of Community Importance known for its spectacular biodiversity.

The town of Bertinoro

In 10 minutes you reach Bertinoro, an authentic village of medieval origin located on a hillock between Forlì and Cesena. Its famous square is considered "the terrace of Romagna" from which there is a magnificent view of the Romagna plain... on clear days you can see the sea. In the square we find the Column of Rings, Bertinoro's main monument.

The cultural city of Forli

The historical town of Forli is divided by an ancient street system of roman origin and finds its centre at the ‘Piazza Saffi’. This main square still has many architectural buildings of different centuries.

The Magliano Nature Reserve

The reserve encompasses 650ha and is nested in between the regions of Forli, Forlimpopoli and Bertinoro. It consists mainly of agricultural terrain and pebble grounds that stretches alongside the river Ronco. This wetland offers a particular flora and fauna and is ideal the ideal habitat for many wetland animals.

Along the river and throughout the wetland, there have been formations of sand dunes, .. whcih provide an ideal habitat for wildlife. Newly created footpaths will bring you close and make you enjoy the closeness to nature and bird life.
